A satisfying steamboat experience with fresh ingredients, flavorful broths, and a great sauce bar. Perfect for group dinners. Just be prepared to leave smelling like soup! Recommended
Many selections - beef, lamb, chicken, fish, shellfish, and many varieties of lok lok. Discount for children/elderlies of certain age. Very value for money.
As someone who really loves steamboat/hotpot, this is a nice place to go. I was hesitant at first due to the reviews, but don’t let them fool you—it’s still worth trying! We went there for Buka Puasa, so be sure to book early since it's a peak month. 1. Hidden Charges Previously, I read food reviews mentioning hidden charges. However, you can always check their Facebook page, where they have listed all the charges. They provide a small black and pink cup free of charge, while the larger plastic cup costs RM4 (which you can tapau). The sup ayam (chicken broth) is free, but if you want other options, such as Tomyam (RM20), Laksa (RM25), or Mala (RM30), there’s an additional charge. The choice is yours! 2. Wide Range of Choices The variety here is impressive! What I love the most is the seafood, especially the ketam bunga (flower crab). Most steamboat/hotpot places I’ve been to serve ketam bakau (mangrove crab), which isn’t my favorite and usually it's small. The freshness is okay juga, at least for my experience. There’s also plenty of loklok, and I absolutely loved the marinated lamb. Honestly, it's really worth trying! 3. Great Staff Service We came here to celebrate my father's retirement appreciation and my nephew's birthday. The staff were very kind and helped store the birthday cake until the celebration. Initially, we didn’t plan to have the birthday song, but the staff insisted on singing it anyway—they must really love doing that! Haha. 4. Kid-Friendly Facilities For those dining with children and wanting to eat in peace, they have a playground! There is a small fee for dine-in customers, which, if I’m not mistaken, is RM10 on weekdays and RM15 on weekends. 5. Concerns Water Dispenser: During peak hours, especially in Ramadan, the water dispenser often runs empty because many people are using it. If possible, I suggest upgrading to a machine that can handle a larger quantity. Air-conditioning: I’m not sure if it was just our experience, but when we dined in, we couldn’t really feel the air conditioning. It would be great if they could improve this, especially since steamboat dining can get quite hot. Oh! And if anyone is curious, there is also a surau located in the mall at Level 3 (Both Male & Female) That’s all for my review! Definitely coming back again.
For those who enjoy barbecue and have a hearty appetite, this establishment is certainly worth a visit. There is a wide variety of options available, from meats to drinks. It is advisable to make a reservation via WhatsApp in advance, as the place tends to attract crowds and this helps avoid any disappointment. A helpful tip: enter through the door next to the mall’s parking lot entrance and take the elevator to the first floor, the restaurant is directly in front of you once the elevator doors open. Regarding indoor comfort, previous reviews mentioned inadequate air-conditioning, and we did experience the same issue during our visit, possibly due to the high number of patrons. Nonetheless, the atmosphere remains calm and pleasant, and overall, it is a spot worth visiting.
